What We Heard From You: 2025 Partnership & Collaboration Survey

April 14, 2026
RDN Updates

In November, we invited partners, funders, and collaborators to share their experiences working with the Rural Development Network. Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2025 Partnership & Collaboration Survey. Your reflections on what’s working, what needs attention, and where we can grow are invaluable as we continue building a stronger, more responsive organization.

This survey marks an important step in shaping RDN’s next strategic direction. As we begin planning for Strategy 2027–2030, your insights are guiding how we strengthen relationships, support community‑led initiatives, and collaborate across sectors. With responses from approximately 20% of contacts, primarily in Alberta and Ontario, this engagement provides a meaningful foundation for our next phase of work.

We deeply appreciate your time, honesty, and commitment to advancing rural, remote, and Indigenous community priorities.

Below, you’ll find the full What We Heard report and an accompanying infographic that highlights key themes at a glance.
